The funny thing is, if you psychologically prime people first, foment the paranoia, spread the fear through every media outlet from scary movies, TV shows, and books to science classes and TED talks, then you don't actually have to engineer a virus.
You just pick whatever bug is going around that year, preferable one of the super common ones like rhinovirus, adenovirus, or coronavirus, and you tell everyone this it it, and they'll all REACT like there's an engineered super virus even when almost no one even get's ill and the overall death rate isn't even outside the standard deviation for a typical year.

If this thing was engineered, it was a piss poor effort. Without the liberal media’s constant fear porn no one would even know about it.
