I can get on board with that but what I cannot get on board with is an America without any intelligence community at all. The world is a dark and messy place and our country has a lot of people, allies, adversaries, and enemies a like that would wish us harm. We need an intelligence community to help protect us.
I could see it, if we went back to only spying on foreigners. Unfortunately the rise of the internet has given our intelligence community the perfect excuse to spy on everyone, because anyone using American IPs could be a foreign spy.
What I can't get behind is keeping a secret police agency (FBI) and other organizations like the ATF and DEA.
