Hasn't this asshole heard of HIPAA laws? Even the President is entitled to COMPLETE PRIVACY in regard to EVERYTHING concerning his medical condition.

Too bad. So sad. ASSHOLE just violated them. Time to report him to all the proper federal agencies, complain to the hospital administration. and maybe even get the loudmouth's license pulled.

Who the hell does he think he is? Does he think he can violate HIPAA because he's a Democrat? What an arrogant fool!

Gross HIPPA violations by the doctors at the Press Conference as well imo. I've never seen such gross detail provided. Even when our LAPD was shot they would simply report "they're stabilized." I hope every fkg one of them loses their license. I've never seen anything like this in my life!!!

Kind of incredible that this even needs to be stated tbh.

Someone ought to do something about this. Perhaps someone ought to write the press secretary and tell her that they are violating President Trump's privacy. It is up to him how much of what he wants to reveal.

Maybe HIPAA laws aren't her area of expertise and she doesn't know she should clamp down on them.

Where is his circle of protection? Where are the big dogs to keep traitors at bay? He's just trying to MAGA for US. That's his job but where are all the people whose job it is to PROTECT HIM? The DOJ? The GOP? The attorneys? The Justices? The military? The FBI? He has NO ONE + it keeps me up at night. He fkg has no one.

This HIPAA thing is so basic to anyone who has ever worked in the medical field it should be second nature to them. Even student doctors and nurses know they aren't supposed to divulge information.

The docs at the news conference were probably dazzled by the fact that they were talking to reporters on TV and didn't even think about HIPAA. The clown who is tweeting -- I don't think he's even on the case -- maybe just sneaking a peek at the chart as often happens with famous patients.

I feel sorry for President Trump too. He needs his "deplorables" oddly enough -- I bet there would be a million or so willing to converge on the hospital and guard him 24/7 if need be. But that could never happen. There's all this protocol and tradition.

State medical licensing board is a place to start emailing complaints.

He’s an ads hole. But how did he violate? No medical data shared?

He is remarking on the severity of the disease and that isn't something he should do. His comments about the President endangering the secret service is out of line for obvious reasons. In order to be a supposed danger to the secret service, the President would have to be presently infectious.

In terms of HIPAA everything is held as strictly personal. So though it can be assumed a Covid -19 patient might be infectious at some point -- a doctor should not be gossiping the precise "moment" that may be with somone who has no business knowing anything at all about a patient's private health.

Basically-- a doc can say nothing about a patient's health without permission. Especially on something like Twitter -- what a violation of privacy!

Yah. Buddy, Thats a stretch. Especially if he isn’t his particular doctor, and doesn’t access his medical data.

Yeah-- you're way behind the times pal. Welcome to the nIghtmare world of "Epic" where your fingers do the walkiing.

"Epic" is only one package -- there are others. I mention it because it's the most irritating one (in terms of difficulty) but one of the most expensive so probably the one a military hospital would get.

Riddle me this, why can I visit my rheumatologist and receive an order for blood work and a few weeks later visit my endocrinologist and have her comment on the results of the test the other doctor ordered? Why it's the magic of computers!!! And these two docs are at different hospitals that have a loose affiliation!

So if you think the doc with the Twitter addiction can't tippy tap his digits and pull up records you're mistaken. He'd just need basic info that floats around when "famous" people are in the house.

I read the article, what did he say that violates hippa? He just say Trump has covid and he shouldn’t be around other people.
