Most of the DARE anti-drug stuff is bullshit. They act like if you smoke a joint once your life is ruined. It tried to boil down something complex into something simple and backfired.

Heroin is the one drug that is actually that bad. Its addictive hold can be so strong that the first time you shoot up will put many people on the path of becoming a junkie.
