I knocked out like 14 pages of it and I’m not convinced it’s something for a guy in a struggle to read. The author strikes me as a new ager or perhaps a Quaker - neither of those being inherently bad things, but “Just, like, feel the loving light of Jesus maaaaaaan” rings awfully hollow when you, ya know, can’t. Also beware the fine line between “You have to look at scripture with eyes of faith” and “This secret knowledge unlocks scripture in a totally novel way that history has never known before.” Might not fully apply here, IDK, I didn’t finish it.

I have to offer even that with caution. Orthodoxy (the concept, not the sect) can be a tightrope walk - on the one hand, if you’re going to have a rigid practice you’d best be awfully, dead-set sure you’re right, and sorry to say we generally aren’t or aren’t for long (e.g. Catholicism, orthodoxy the sect). On the other, a church without institutions can be anywhere on a wide spectrum from just-Bible-believers to Jesus-never-expressly-said-you-can’t-marry-another-dude variety heretics.

So where you go instead of this particular tract depends on the flavor you’re after. Which, if you know, I’m sure folks here could help.
