One of the main functions of vitamin D is to help activate T cells, aka the "killer cells" in the body. T cells actually detect and destroy foreign pathogens -- like viruses. "That makes vitamin D especially crucial for maintaining a functioning immune system that's capable of fighting back foreign pathogens,

It's amazing how many people don't get enough of the right BASIC Vitamins...

a study from May found "100%" of all the ICU COVID PATIENTS were VITAMIN D DEFICIENT.

That is just stunning.

COVID is racist confirmed. Which community suffers from Vit D deficiencies at a higher rate? White supremacy exists at the virological level.

Actually, it should be 5000 AU- D3 a day. That's the break even point in the body processes using D3.

With Winter coming on.... and much less direct sunlight on Pedes skin...

I agree....

5000 per day is likely a better level... and the immune boost should be at saturation levels...

FYI to an PEDEs:

  • it can take sever weeks to get your blood concentrations to proper levels of Vti D....

so if you are not on VITAMIN D...

START TAKING VITAMIN D EVERY DAY.... ASAP.

Boost's heart health,

helps beat Depression,

bone strength increases,

and the IMMUNITY BOOST IS CRAZY!

Helps beat ALL COLDS AND FLUS not just covid.

Source?

4cham frenz have been talking about this for a long long time. I've been megadosing vitamin D for years with no negative effects.

Edit: I thought you said 500, oops. 5000 is a solid amount. I take between 5000-10,000 a day

Only 2000? I'm on that 10.000 IU game, son. (1x 5IU capsule 2x a day) Plus 100 mg of Zinc (1x 50mg 2x a day).

Has done a pretty good job of keeping me humming.

ZInc is critical too...

But it is a metal - and if you take in to much metal - your body will begin to dump 'all metal' including iron... and other key metals you need at 'micro- nutrient levels'

FYI for anyone:

Chromium helps maintain normal blood sugar levels and helps cells draw energy from blood sugar.

Copper assists with metabolizing fuel, making red blood cells, regulating neurotransmitters, and mopping up free radicals.

Iron helps make hemoglobin (the oxygen-carrying chemical in the body's red blood cells) and myoglobin (a protein in muscle cells). Iron is essential for activating certain enzymes and for making amino acids, collagen, neurotransmitters, and hormones.

Magnesium, like calcium, builds bones and teeth. It also helps to regulate blood pressure and blood sugar and enables muscles to contract, nerves to send messages, blood to clot, and enzymes to work.

Manganese helps form bones and helps metabolize amino acids, cholesterol, and carbohydrates.

Molybdenum activates several enzymes that break down toxins and prevents the buildup of harmful sulfites in the body.

Potassium balances fluids in the body, helps to maintain a steady heartbeat and to make muscles contract, and may benefit bones and blood pressure.

Sodium balances fluids in the body, helps send nerve impulses, and helps make muscles contract.

Just make sure to add some k2 to that. Otherwise you increase a risk of kidney stones. K2 is good for your heart, too.

Just remember to keep an eye on how much vitamin D you intake. Too much will also make you sick.

"yes - but"

It's is pretty high concentration in the blood before you see problems.... difficult to reach without going crazy.... Some people who are vitamin diffident get a shot... 50,000IU, and you get that weekly until blood levels climb.

Just. a day in the sun (on the beach etc) produces crazy amounts of Vit D in the system.... Just 20 minutes of sunshine can get you the equivalent of 8-10,000IU of Vitamin D...

and Sun/Skin Vitamin D goes through a different (and better) chemical process in the body... it would be preferable to get Daily Vit D from the Sun... but that is pretty difficult for most people.

As winter comes on... Jumping to 5,000IU per day likely a good idea for 'inside people and screens people'

This is true but it never hurts to warn people not to over do it. After all the last thing you want to do is make yourself sick while trying to avoid getting sick.

It is not that easy to overdose on Vitamin D...

30 minutes in the Sun (beach day) is over 10,000IU of Vit D.
