For me, the most interesting part of this segment came toward the end when the interviewer tried to get Pence to "just say the phrase"; to literally pay lip service to the movement as opposed to actually endorsing their ideals. But the fence did not waver.

Often the best strategy isn’t to try to correct all of the leftist lies, but to just use their idiotic rhetoric against them, or to reframe in an equally idiotic way that uses their own type of logic. For example, to try to explain that white supremacy doesn’t exist and is a media-created hysteria meant to divide doesn’t really work, because they just frame that as denial. If instead you denounce white supremacy and ALL forms of racial supremacy, you are able to agree and amplify. “I denounce white supremacy, I denounce black supremacy, I denounce Hispanic supremacy.” This forces them to reeeee over white supremacy while defending black supremacy and Hispanic supremacy, and that forces them into the awkward and indefensible position.
There may be an even better counter to this than even that, but this is the type of approach I think we have to take. We must use their own logic to box them in, instead of letting them box us in.
