Focus groups I'd imagine. That's how these politicians make pretty much all their decisions. Figure out which action garners the most approval from their desired group, in this case the BLM group. BLM probably ate it up, a bunch of rich old white folks bowing down, its like their dream came true. Thats also why I love Trump, I highly doubt he focus groups anything, he just says what he wants when he wants.
