In all fairness to the record, it wasn't top stop Brennan, Paul said he was in favor of him. Paul filibustered because the Obama admin wouldn't say if they had the right to drone missile American on American soil without due process and other related issues.
It was a great filibuster, I watched/listened to it all. Filibuster might be my favorite part of the Senate, especially when there is a nice Kentucky windage accent.
The questions they ask effectively serve as the break as to not yield the floor and accidentally end the filibuster. My favorite is when a question just turns into some sort of statement, but it ends with, "... what do you think about that?"
LOL, Rand eventually got to the point the point where he was just speaking directly to the camera saying that if Obama or any of his top officials would simply call and answer "yes" or "no" to his simple question about due process, he would stop the filibustering the appointment.

I watched most of it. It’s what made me really like Ted Cruz. I didn’t know much about him before then. He gave Rand Paul breaks.
