As bitter as I am at google because of their internal politics & that post election meeting they had clearly showing they're the enemy. Google is still way superior at being on topic (outside of politics) than it's competitors. And I have kept on using it because I still have work to do & I need results. The day has finally come I feel I can tell google to pack its bags.

Yippy doesn't auto correct to provide more popular one size fits all results. I still have to work for results, obviously. And I haven't tested it for political bias. But I feel this is finally a good google alternative.

I also love how they can sort results by topic instead of one giant garbage pile. Reminds me of web days of yore before facebook when there was some sort of IQ test to be on the web.

I love it for research.

I first tested it with "adrenochrome" to see if they filtered out "conspiracy theories". Nope. Ties to celebrities are in the word cloud. Love yippy for research.

I think they are headed for a growth spurt. Have seen disappointment in ddg's data sell-out on many blogs this morning, and yippy is getting the nod.
