40K cases daily in a country of 330 million doesn't explain the phenomenon OP described.

If it was that contagious and spread that easily even among people getting tested EVERY DAY then we should see far more cases across the country than we're currently seeing.

They are getting it. I work in the nursing field and have staff and facility patients who wear masks and social distance. They have gotten it.

Most did not even know they had it.

But keep your head up your ass and living in that media echo chamber.

I travel for work and am currently in Baltimore, no one here is wearing a mask so you can keep that “Democrats following the rules” bullshit to yourself

Everyone who is staying home is experiencing fewer car crash fatalities too. Turns out when you cut yourself off from the world, it doesn’t kill you as often.

Unfortunately, that’s not how humans work. Democrats are being diagnosed with mental disorders at much higher rates than republicans. Turns out being neurotic germaphobes who get butthurt about everything isn’t good for your mental health.

Woah yeah if you think about it Democrats must be being diagnosed with more mental disorders than Republicans. Can I read your source if you’ve got the time to share? Thanks

Not the point. It's not even spreading in families that quickly.
