RIP my $50 gift card that I got months ago as a present but never had a chance to use before they were shut down.

Man, I've been smuggling food into theaters since I was in high school lol.

Wendy's 99-cent Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers and Frosties were my movie food of choice for so many years!

Same here. I have some free tickets i got from Christmas and was waiting for a good movie to come out. Guess it's a relic of the past now.

Yep. Death to them all. It started long before Covid. Turns out kids want to watch two minute videos of some goofball fucking off. So be it! They should be grateful for what they had. But they’re done. No more Hollywood power.

I have a little bias here. I actually work in the cinema industry as a technician. So it's NOT a good thing, not at all. For me and anyone who works in the exhibition industry.

ALL of the collapse in this industry lies directly in California, with Pelosi blocking EVERYTHING, is killing the industry.

There are probably a million kids and older adults directly fucked by this. And no assistance. So I'm kind of not happy about it, not at all.
