Me personally, I think they are. For a few reasons.

  1. Every flu season, why haven't people been told to wear masks in order to not get the flu?

  2. A Rep senator at ACB Supreme Court announcement caught the virus, and that person was wearing a mask, which shows it does nothing to prevent someone catching it.

  3. no major studies have been released showing the effectiveness of masks

  4. a big one for me, in high level biohazard facilities, they put on a Hazmat suit. why, because viral particles can get through the shoddy defence of a mask.

I don't wear a mask when I go out, never have, never will. the only exceptions for me this past 6 months have been when I took my mother to cardiology and when I went to see an optometrist. also if a business requires mask wearing on entry u think that's fair enough. no-one is forcing the shoppers to shop there.

This is the U. of Minnesota center for disease research. Researching masks for 20 years.

My summary... The new research claiming masks do any good against viruses is flawed. We have a hundred years of actual research showing that masks for viruses don't work at best and harm at worst. Oh, and we're putting in here that we support mask mandates (of the masks that we also say are ineffective) so we don't get protested and we are sponsored by 3m.
