Sometimes we have to remember with these people it's not about keeping them alive from a vital signs perspective. I bet a lot of these people screaming about killing their grandma hasn't been through multiple grandparents and great-grandparents going through the end of their lives. As far as I'm concerned the last six months for a nursing home patient is a sentence better fit for a mass murderer. They should get a choice to not have to live their last months totally isolated from their family. Even if it means they might risk an earlier death.
But the nursing homes get a 20% bonus from Medicare for every China Virus patient!

Maybe sometimes, but I know from personal experience that it isn't in most cases.
My recently deceased grandfather HAD to live in an adult care facility because his dementia was progressing to the point that none of us could care for him. Many elderly people require around the clock care, or at least access to around the clock care, in order to live a somewhat healthy life.
While some people do force their parents into nursing homes, there are a vast number of families that do not. Please keep your generalizations to yourself. Thank you.

It's their kids who are unable or refuse to deal with them.
My wife and I moved her mom in with us after she had a heart attack. If we hadn't, she'd be in a home right now.
Instead, she gets to watch CNN 24/7 and flip the fuck out when I say anything that goes against their narratives. My vote is simply going to cancel hers out, which is good enough for me at this point.
And on top of that, 5 states were intentionally putting random infected people into the nursing homes while keeping families out.
My neighbor’s mother died in an assisted living from ‘complications’ from COVID. He hadn’t even been able to see her in person for six months. So that quarantine did not work. So sad.

Problem being that A: the mask Nazis don't wear it properly, B: they want healthy people to wear them, and C: they don't bother with safely disposing of the masks.
