My Grandma is 94 years old. For as long as I've been alive she and my Grandpa would eat some sort of fast food 4 or 5 times a week, either breakfast of lunch.
When she was in the nursing home earlier thie year whoever visited would bring her McDonald's, she had it for lunch or dinner most days. And when it got locked down she would tell thhe staff that she missed McDonald's fries more than all of us, lol
On her way home she wanted to stop at McDonald's. All of us who visit all the time take her food... She gets fast food a few times a week still. (We also take turns cooking decent dinners and weekend lunches for her so we don't just feed her junk.)
And yes, we know how unhealthy it is.... But she's 94. It hasn't killed her yet. And she says she'd rather enjoy life than eat food she doesn't like.
Maybe there is something good in the food....
Genes...Life span is all about genes and of course God has something to do with it also..:)
This is awesome! I have a similar story. My grandmother is 94 also and ate Wendy’s once a week but had cake or some form of dessert every night. I’ve seriously watched her polish off a whole cake for 8 people in two days. Unfortunately she ended up in a nursing home earlier this year and since she’s been locked down (it’s NY so I’m just happy Cuomo didn’t kill her) she always tells us to bring her cake. Then she jokingly tells us to leave. Oh and she truly believes that God sent Trump to save America.
