Sorry to hear that. I love my dog and losing one is a crushing time. I'm sure you gave her a great life though and she loved being with you every day. We don't deserve dogs, they truly are amazing.

I lost my dog, Max, a.k.a. Mr. Tibbenson, about 13 years ago. He was like a son to me, albeit a bit of a dick. There are times I swear I see a small gray shadow near the floor, just out of the corner of my eye. I'm so very sorry for your loss, but we keep memories of our loved ones in our heart.

This year I have burried my 15 yr old Huskie/Timberwolf/Malamute mix (yeh, he did live that long) and my 2 yr old GSD. Have no idea what happen to him. Thinking someone poisoned him. Honestly, one of the saddest days I can remember. But, I still have his brother and got another GSD puppy. Hope they live long lives. Sorry to hear about your loss. But, if you are young and you love animals it is just something you have to live with because you will own quite a few in your life.

I saw this at the crematorium 3 weeks ago when we picked up our 15 year old puppers. It brought me some peace and perspective.

Dogs are one of the greatest gifts one can ever have. Rest a little easier knowing you gave her a wonderful life and she cherished every moment with you.
