He has crippled their industry, so many people see these people as the narcissistic, disingenuous scumbags they are, more now than ever before. They crippled their own industry. The reason these movie theaters are going bankrupt is because there are no new movies being filmed due to covid, and/or people can't go into movie theaters in many states due to the restrictions.
They were making crappy movies even before the lock down. That's not even counting their wokeness, where they try to preach critical race theory, global warming and a thousand other lefty ideas.
Even the movies they released weren't really new.. rehashed and awful redux of classic American cinema. No groundbreaking or thought provoking films. just a bunch of safe trash remakes
