Luckily i work in a supermarket and customers never stopped touching every piece of produce/meat before picking one. Its hilarious to see someone in a mask + face shield rifle through things a hundred people before them have touched and immediately itch their face.
I saw some idiot dressed head to toe in medical PPE, during the peak panic. Dumbass gropes produce, then shoves his gloved paws under his mask to pick his nose.
I am proud to say, I too, have went on as normal. Well...as normal as it gets for 2020... No mask. Not following those stupid arrows on the floor in stores. I DO keep my distance from people. But that's it. I also didn't " stay home, stay safe!". I pretty much doubled my outings.
Reminds me of HG WEll'S : The Time Machine" in which the people were so stupid their young were herded together like and the ruling class lived below ground and Ate them massively

Same here. I have an “essential” job, so I’ve been working throughout the lockdown, dealing with strangers daily.
I didn't have an essential job and still went out. Found some under the table work to do and went out DAILY.
