Trust me, it's not really "the people." The ADL is to Jews what the media is to Americans. It's a SMALL group that claims to speak for all, and they're shameful. Because of a handful of Jews' control of Hollywood for example, people think Jews are how we're portrayed in Hollywood and the media. The jews in nyc have been subjected to attacks from the blacks for a long time, but those are hasidic jews- ie, guys you can tell are jewish from a mile away. And it's a Jewish neighborhood, so if you find a white guy there, he's decently likely to be jewish. Rick Moranis lives on the upper west side (a rich white neighborhood) and isn't orthodox.
