Modern secular society isn't atheistic anymore. It's beyond that. It is anti-theistic. It is hostile to any pre conceived notions of humanity and it's role in the universe regardless of it sect. These are people that reject anything archetypical. They honestly believe they can defy all. Whether you're a creationist or an evolutionist they reject both. Creationism forces them accept into intelligent design and evolutionism forces them to accepting natural hierarchy and survival of the fittest.
Neither of which they can accept because it admits their view of reality is their own arbitrary fantasy. Men can be women, women can be men. Soon it'll be dogs can be cats. These people reject all reality. So old testament verses will roll off their back like water does a duck.
It's not modern secular society, it's a very specific ideology: Critical Theory. That's where almost all of this insanity is coming from. They indeed reject the very notion of objective reality which comes from its Postmodern influence (the other major influence being Marxism). How can they reject intestine reality while believing in Marxism (the broadest and flimsiest of objective overlays)? I mean, isn't Marxism that old ass political theory that tried to pretend it was a "science" to seem more legit? (Shades of Theosophy, Behaviorism, etc.)
I actually think our modern secular society has gone full circle.
I think they are pagans. They worship wokeism, critical race theory, intersectionality, marxism, LGBTQIA++++, leftism, etc. They are no longer pretend to be logical in their rejection of the one true God, they simply worship other gods instead. They hold vigils for their gods. They pray to their gods. They are willing to die for their gods.
I should note: their false gods will not save them. On judgement day, unless they turn to Christ, they will be cast into the lake of fire. I pray for all of them.
