But, at worst, it's like have four bad flu seasons in one year, followed by a return to normal as herd immunity kicks in. It isn't worth wrecking the economy for it. The overwhelming majority, even in Trump's demographic, survive. Those who don't are in their 70s or 80s, or have signficant comorbidities. We're getting better at protecting ourselves every day. We shouldn't be afraid of it. Masks are a modern day talisman designed to ward off the fear that we ourselves have invented. This is the bravest statement by a President in 50 years..
