I made a topic about this. Long story short, Women do NOT get randomly pregnant, they have many choices
This is a big mistake. By letting prochoice wording slide, you're already acknowledging it has some inherent value, logic or truth to it. Just by letting it slide and engaging in the discussion makes them win some ground. And it puts you in the position of fighting against women having choices.
The thing is that prochoice is an inherently flawed position.
It implies women have NO choice in pregnancy and that they should have (and yes, they definitely should have). And therein lies the problem. Women DO have a choice. With very few exceptions like rape, women already have 100% control over their bodies.
The only way the prochoice argument would hold water would be if women would RANDOMLY get pregnant. Then and only then they would "not have control over their bodies".
But as we all know babies come from unprotected PIV. Women have plenty of choices to avoid that, from using protection to just not having piv.
So please, whenever you get into an argument, don't just skip over "prochoice" wording because it's is simply wrong and puts you in a very bad and defensive (yet false) position of taking choice away from women.
It's obviously absurd but if you don't attack it's premise you will by default become the one that wants women not to have choices.
