Well, I'm going to continue (if I can) because I like to teach, and the public school system here is pretty good, so I don't mind working there either (I'll probably wind up there, as the local universities are going nuts but the public schools are pretty sane).

There are crappy people everywhere, might as well do what you like to do and are good at.
