If you look, the growth rate actually started increasing from year to year back to 2009. It is not even out of the ordinary. And we still have the country shut down in places. These tyrants need to be forcibly removed from their positions and never allowed to have power again.

Agreed. At bare minimum a slight increase by end of year and that is with them shutting hospitals down. We really don't know if the initial increase resulted from that either. I wouldn't doubt if it almost completely levels out by the end of the year
My impression is that the communist Chinese virus was only considerably bad early on, with various factors such as evolutionary pressure working against it over time. It also very much depends on which populations it affects. Combined with the extreme cost that lockdowns can have (including in lives lost - the USA under Donald Trump fared relatively very well reg. this, but for other countries, especially much poorer countries, I can easily imagine any lockdowns leading to food supply chain problems, partial famines and large-scale death), the Democrats and leftists seem to have been completely incompetent (EDIT: or wretched) all the way through, by starting with decrying Donald Trump for imposing travel bans on China and Europe while they were partying in Chinatowns, and later on (once the virus seems to have become much less dangerous as well as much more information being available on it and it not turning out that horribly) impose draconian and frequently ineffective and extremely costly lockdowns and abuse the virus to the absolute extreme politically and otherwise (such as hiding identity when looting).
