No, just decades of experience as a certified dog trainer.

Pitbulls are one of the very few breeds that haven't gone through intentional breeding to remove gameness/inate aggression.

GSDs were a fundamentally different dog in the 80s than they are now....due to professional human intervention in breeding out their aggressive qualities.

A myriad of different reasons prevented that from being a realistic reality for pitbulls ranging from the glorification of them in rap to dog fighting to outright propaganda like the "nanny dog" myth.

They're either genetic soup due to people lying about lineage/allowing them to roam rape and impregnate random dogs OR you get filth like pocket bullys and INTENTIONAL breeding for aggression.

I've seen pitbulls from pedigree lineage turn on loving owners that did EVERYTHING right but just happened to yell the wrong way...and now your 8 year old velvet hippo is mauling your kids.

They're the number one killer of dogs/cats/livestock.

They do life-altering amounts of damage when they do attack.

They account for the overwhelming majority WORLDWIDE for human attacks.

Pitbull owners are the creepiest group too. Oversexualizing them, over dressing them, humanizing them...

They're also weirdly racist/like you touched on.

Damn. Thanks for the great info. I’m not a dog guy and know nothing about them, but I’ve always found the defense of them to be a bit weird. I figured their must be a reason that they have that stigma.

there is a pitbull propaganda party.

The same reason I'll never support dog adoption centers. They lie about genetics, lie about bite history and tendencies with children and cats.

Just to push this falsehood that they're family dogs for some reason.

Thank you. I knew a young married couple years ago who adopted a male "Staffordshire Terrier" puppy years ago and thought neutering their fur baby was cruel.

Friends tried and tried to tell them what they were in for but they refused to listen.

One day, fur baby bit their toddler, and fur baby instantly disappeared and was never spoken of again.

You're right about the owners. These people are completely nuts on FB about their sweet sweet pibbles and how the rest of us are just so scared and ignorant.

And you know what? Every Damn One of those people is a raving Trump-hater as well. Every Single One.

Lmao, verified dog trainer my ass.

If you were, you’d know a dog’s behavior depends on their environment. I’ve seen “good” breeds like Huskies and Retrievers act more aggressive and hostile. Here’s a history lesson for you, did you know pits and bulldogs used to be called “nanny dogs” in England? Guess why.

I have a pit bull, and my neighbors have three, one of which is around 100 lbs, he’s huge. Yet they’re all extremely sweet and aren’t aggressive in the slightest. They leave them around their kids, who are pretty young.

My aunt’s small dog is a hundred times more aggressive and more likely to bite than these supposed “shit breeds”.
