The Republicans have 53 Senators. 2 or 3 are iffy. That leaves 50 plus Pence as tie breaker. However, McSally from Arizona was appointed by the Governor to replace McCain. She is on the ballot against Kelly (D) to fill out the rest of McCain's term. If Kelly wins, he is seated Nov 4th, not January 2nd. One less Republican Senator.

Any cases that make it to scotus before the election. Like the SC Ballot one.
Not to mention the demoralizing effect losing that SCOTUS pick will have one some of the dem voters. Hopefully.
The new Supreme Court session just started (First Monday in October). Need to have her on all cases the SC hears this session.
That and if (God forbid) Biden cheats his way in, he can nominate a new SCOTUS.
