Interesting. Never heard of this. Tell us more. How to participate in distribution?

how is this amazing? This is literally communism. This is government controlled distribution of the food supply.

I love our President, but this is retarded.

The government is not controlling food supply. They're buying extra from businesses and giving it to people in need. It's charity and the Christian thing to do. Don't confuse that with communism.

Just a guess that neither your family nor any close friends got USDA help during the 80's Reagan Recession?

I went to school with a lot of kids whose families got "gov't cheese" (among other products) from the USDA surplus.

Sometimes Capitalism needs a little compassionate redistribution of excess supplies in times of need. Heck, there were stories on this site back in April/May about farmers trashing food when it could have been sent to those suddendly unemployed and stuck in their states backlog of claims for weeks on end.

Its not controlled. It's voluntary to participate.. Trump didn't walk up to "joes farm" and say "MINE".

Communism would mean government takeover, leaving farmers empty handed.

I'm sure the farmers are making a very competitive buck selling product for this program..

Reeeeeeeee. What a hysterical moron you are.

Another reminder why we should warry when it comes to elect libertarians. They would call the US military funding LITERALLY COMMUNISM

Farmers to famillies. Lol
