Boy, I oughta tie that long hair on your head to the short hair on your ass and kick your ass up one side of the street and down the other.

The same people who promote this are the ones who pass bylaws against growing veggies in your front yard, for example.

Fuck these low-t, soy latte-sipping twigboys. Come take my Kentucky Bluegrass.

They came for the lawns in California a few years back during a self induced drought because Democrats are incompetent and allow environmentalist nut jobs run the state.

The State was paying people to rip out their lawns because of water rationing.

Suddenly all the Karens on Next Door started lawn shaming their neighbors.

Then we had epic rains and everyone forgot about it but it looks like they want to roll it out nationwide.

I am one of those "I fucking hate yardwork" kind of people.

Would be perfectly happy with a damn rock-garden in my front yard.

Is he advocating to grow crops on our lawns? If so,They need to make up their damn mind. I thought the current 'progressives' wanted to move to more multi-family housing. Atleast thats the push in my city which is overwhelmingly suburbs with a small downtown. They're pushing to change zoning to forbid single family housing citing the demand from people wanting to live closer to city.

OR...

WE KEEP OUR GRASS, AND GROW CROPS! now that's galaxy brain right there. Liberals are idiots. You don't have to rip up your WHOLE lawn to grow crops. Country folks have what's called "gardens". It's this never before seen thing that you can do on your property and grow stuff. Wow, cool right?

If you don't have a lawn where are your kids gonna play? Oh, wait.... that's right these libs ain't got kids.

4
DesertYote 4 points ago +4 / -0

No, the kids need to play in approved state monitored play grounds. Kids must never be left alone else they start thinking wrong thoughts. This is the actual truth. Leftist are demon possessed.

I actually think there are some legitimate arguments about why we shouldn't waste water attempting to grow non native ornamental grasses in dry climates

I hate lawns. I hate that they have become a cultural norm. But, I'd never want to take your right away of having one.

They won't stop until they have everything and then they will demand your shoes

What's the proposal? My neighbors barely even cut the grass, there's no way they will sow seeds, harvest, or shuck. And I'm not doing it unless I annex their property

Where have you been they been begging for this for a hot while. I personally like xeriscape but i don't think everyone in my neighborhood should nuke their lawns.

I lived in Portland for seven years before escaping north. Water prices are kept freakishly high so people can't afford to water their lawns. The history of what is going on will make you're blood boil. The leftist are demon possessed.

Note how the demand is to kill the lawn, not to plant other crops.

Everything they say is negative.

PB_Mack 1 point ago +1 / -0

Um...that lawn cleans more co2 than a similar acreage of trees.

I have wanted to bring back victory gardens instead of boring grass for some time now. Then along come these smooth brains who can only respond with smug accusations of racism and socialist propaganda who are going to make it cringe...
