There are plenty of Patriots and Swamp Rats. I don't know honestly but I think they really really like him. He has done so much for the military and veterans.

Most current officers are products of the SJW universities and educations that have produced the antifa/BLM crop of troglodytes we all know and love. SJW indoctrination influences the judgment and leadership of these officers, whether these officers acknowledge it or not. The willingness to embrace the SJW Love Pillow gets worse as you up in rank.
Enlisted overwhelming vote republican, but are conditioned to follow orders. Many commands have an underlying culture of fear - you will be crushed if you seem less than enthusiastic about the forced deep throating of SJW ideals. Additionally, the majority of first-term enlisted have no life experience but what they experienced in the SJW indoctrination camps. They are practically a lost cause.
Look how fast the cops turned against the populations and communities they police, and started gleefully enforcing unconstitutional lock down orders, no matter how bugshit insane the mandates have become. The military is not exempt from this kind of groupthink.

You have to be careful with the military... historically, militaries don't like to return power.
