Hi Capacity servers in co-locations are expensive, I am sure if you message the mods, they will show you how to donate.
They have refused all attempts at donations so far.
Really, didn't realize that.
There are sites far bigger and more DDOS'd than this than hold up. Don't think for a second the soyboys in SF aren't behind this.

You don't know what you are talking about. Again. This has nothing to do with ddos but low tier servers who cannot handle bursts of traffic.
Cloudflare’s not the problem. See that little graphic in the middle that says “Cloudflare working”?
Servers give 504 timeout errors if there is a sudden load hike on the server due to heavy traffic, which also happens due to DDOS attack.
The Cloudflare service is up, hence the green status, but they are supposed to be detecting and blocking DDOS traffic to T_D, which they are not. Host is down. This is the very definition of a DDoS attack.
It means the servers owned by .win are overwhelmed (possibly by DDoS, possibly just from normal traffic).
No DDoS filtering proxy is going to be 100% accurate, anyways. Even if it's only 70% effective, that's a huge win over not having it.

Those sites have money to buy more servers; servers aren't cheap.

Maybe not, I donno. But I've been around here for a while now, and I've seen its ups and downs. It's up far more than it's down, and its down times are usually pretty short. Odds are high that in addition to the automatic systems, there are humans working back there to keep it online despite the attacks by the democrat/socialist/communists (they're all the same people).
AGREED. I have experienced ongoing connection problems. Hope this is sorted out before tomorrow nights debate. And can’t imagine the evening of the election. 😖

Maybe They could take a one time emergency donation from us to update the servers and possibly their backhaul to the internet.

Gonna get some hate for this, but this is why you should use cloud services like AWS or Azure. Horizontally scale up and down with load, and excellent Ddos services. I'm hard core conservative but if you work in cloud don't have much of a choice than to use MS, Google, or Amazon.
Servers aren't cheap, and there's the asymmetric problem that generating DDOS requests requires less capacity than the capacity needed to respond to the requests.
This is not a cliff are issue. It’s a TheFonald.win server issue.
