How about the push for removing non-Discrimination clauses bc the Left is now pro-Discrimination?

From Ibram Kendi's "How to be an Anti-Racist"

“The defining question is whether the discrimination is creating equity or inequity. If discrimination is creating equity, then it is antiracist. If discrimination is creating inequity, then it is racist.”

  • California is removing a Civil Rights clause as a backdoor for Affirmative Action, but it will also allow them to specifically look for Black job candidates in government

  • Harvard admissions process systematically gives Asians lower scores on "personal points". All the other ivies do it too.

  • Department of Labor is now looking into Microsoft's pledge to hire Black people and making sure it doesn't violate the Civil Rights act.

Let's say Discrimination becomes legal. What does the movement to get non-Discrimination back look like? We know what the Civil Rights movement in the 60s looked like, but the next time around it will be Whites and Asians on the streets demanding non-Discrimination.

Moral Question: Is it ok to Discriminate against people that were not involved in decision making that created inequalities. Is it ok to feel Aggrieved at these policies or do we have to keep quiet while being on the receiving end of Discrimination bc the cause of closing inequalities is greater?

I think everyone can agree that its imperative that we address racial inequality. Is it fair to criticize Culture? Can Culture play a part in prolonging inequalities?

I tried this route, before the the Civil rights backdoor in cali, but she's like "well thats cute ppl need it" and she'll also bring up privileges and that certain groups have better learning opportunities. I'll keep working this angle though.
