I see the future of entertainment going back to the past. I think there will be a return to a "vaudeville" type format (nowadays they call it America's got talent). There will be singers, bands, dance acts, comedians, etc. in an entertainment review. There will be more audience chosen "favorites".
There will be a greater demand for stage plays both dramatic and musicals with more opportunities for local talent.
More restaurants will feature some form of entertainment: folk singers, small bands, piano players, etc.
It will take a long time (if ever) for people to trust the film industry again. Too much money and power begets too much evil.
