Democrats hate capitalism and the tech companies are capitalist corporations. Why would they have any loyalty to a corporation when what they're trying to do is destroy Capitalism and America right along with it? Democrats do not value loyalty, just like they don't value charity. In their minds, charity is bad because it competes with government.
The techies think they are making the world a better place because techies think in terms of coding. They think you can program society like you can program an app. I love techies in their place of expertise, tech stuff but they are horrible when they try to solve complex human problems.

Normally, I dislike government intervention into businesses.
But these aren't being run as businesses, but as parallel governments practically. I'll support whatever it takes to bring them to their knees.
