It definitely hurt us early on in the season. Seedling orders are placed up to 6 months in advance. We have customers in Michigan. We honored their cancellation requests and posted their seedlings (around 10 million plants) on our online sales portal as a speculative crop. We actually saw demand for gardening supplies increase in the non-commie states so we actually had record sales this spring.

$500 a week is $12.50 an hour at full time pay. I don't know about other areas of the country, but in my MCOL area, I'm sure a bunch of people make below that amount.
Dont forgot that is on top of their current benefits, which in MN i believe is 50% or up to 740.00 a week. Add that $500 a week and now you see why its easy to make more than you were working.

If you made $10 an hour at your last job, got laid off, and now get a $250 unemployment check - you have some motivation to take a new $10/hour job. If you're making $750 with the Democrats handout... you'll make less at that old $10/hour job so you stay home.

Giving more money to people that was not earned by any increased production simply drives that amount of money toward the value produced by those people. In this case, no value. Inflation and devaluation of the currency (plus higher effective tax rates) inevitably follows leaving everyone worse off than they started. Particularly those on fixed incomes will be devastated. But this is always a good thing to democrats because it causes the people to ‘need’ more government ‘help’.
