After Effects, Premiere, or Davinci Resolve (free) might be better choices though. permalink parent save report block reply ▲ 19 ▼ – Shwoogin 19 points 191 days ago +19 / -0 Thanks! I am a simple, humble memesmith, I've heard good things about gimp, might give it a try. permalink parent save report block reply ▲ 6 ▼ – Crigence 6 points 191 days ago +6 / -0 I use Gimp all the time, there's very little you CAN'T do with it if you're smart enough! You should give it a try permalink parent save report block reply ▲ 3 ▼ – FreeBased1 3 points 191 days ago +3 / -0 Woah you can use Resolve for memes? Or do you mean the Fusion portion which used to be separate? I ask because I have used resolve for making videos (work/marketing videos, bleh) The little research I've done on fusion and animations looks likes it's... complicated 🤔 permalink parent save report block reply ▲ 2 ▼ – LionTed [S] 2 points 191 days ago +2 / -0 All I know is that you can move images around with keyframes in the edit tab. permalink parent save report block reply ▲ 1 ▼ – Defender110 1 point 191 days ago +1 / -0 Nice. Are you using your mouse or some kind of stylus pen? permalink parent save report block reply ▲ 1 ▼ – LionTed [S] 1 point 191 days ago +1 / -0 Touchpad. It's free (open source), but I hear it can be a little harder to learn/navigate. permalink parent save report block reply
