Seriously, one day I noticed something, I don’t ever really notice Republican policies in my every day life. I also noticed Democrat policies show up in almost every single aspect of daily life, what we can and can’t say, can and can’t do, what we do with our money, taxes etc. and I’m sick of it, I wanna live in a world where the government is out of my life entirely but the left won’t allow that. That’s why I became a Trump supporter
Right. The big difference seems to be the left wanting everything to be illegal unless it's specifically allowed. Whereas the Right wants everything to be allowed unless it's specifically illegal. For the most part.
True. And it used to be (so I'm told - I'm not that old yet) that both parties disagreed on the solutions to what they both saw as problems. Now, both parties have major problems identified that the other minimizes. Look at climate change and illegal immigration. There is no cross aisle problem solving occurring.
At the same time, the left wants to encroach into our daily lives (as you mentioned) with their massive social agenda. As a result, we have become so polarized, and more and more people are seeing themselves as right wing regardless of previously held views because of this.
It's hard to problem solve with the deaf. For example take global warming, I mean, global cooling, I mean, climate change... Look up Milankovitch cycles and how that's been settled science since the 1950's. Liberals will clutch at anything to hold the purse strings.
