Even before I was interested in politics, when a friend first told me what "Woke" was, I told him it sounded stupid. Thinking back, I can recall how physically uncomfortable it made him just to hear that kind of push back.

Ironic, hilarious, and still apt considering this is exactly the kind of cultural programming they were alluding to, and they weren't trannies at the time.

I was actually thinking about this last month when I rewatched the Matrix for the first time since I had heard that theory and it seemed totally bunk.
