Yikes! A while back there was a discussion about how to shave and not support Gillette. Because of what I learned on that thread, I now use a safety blade and I love it. You have other options

Now that I learned how to shave with a safety blade my next move will be move into a straight blade. Once I use up my razors, which are cheap and last forever (I’m female and only shave my legs once a week).

You’re going to cut yourself learning, but once you get it down it’s so much better. Also, using a single blade actually has made my hair more fine, so there’s that to look forward to also.

There’s YouTube videos on how to shave with a straight blade and also videos on how to lather shaving cream. Look up some of those and you’ll be set.

I buy my stuff at Maggard Razors. Again, another Pede recommended it and I tried it and ordered from there and I love it. Good luck!

The safety razor is great. Also, if you absolutely NEED a cartridge razor you can go Dorco which is a south korean company. I would rather buy from South Korea than cucked US.

I dropped Gillette, and the funny thing is I went with a 50+ year old Gillette adjustable safety razor to replace them. And when choosing blades, I make sure they are NOT from a Gillette owned or controlled company. (Gillette is literally everywhere in the shaving market, so you have to be careful with your dollars.)

For shave cream I like Barbasol (and I just ordered the new Barbasol 1919 cream) and Taylor of Old Bond Street.

Fuck Gillette.

Nice. I use Taylor of Old Bond Street too. Lavender is my favorite.
