This will be our version of the Mueller investigation where there are a few indictments and a couple of wrist slaps, followed by mountains and mountains of disinformation, nothingburgers, and disappointment.

Then TF does he have to do to get a non-biased AG? First ...two years of Sessions, now this! Waiting four years, and it coming up around election time only, eh...

Anyways, I'm just curious how they impeded Trump because there's no way he doesn't know the value of media or taking people to court and y'know actually stopping the very machine that went balls out to screw him it of an election last time.

There must be some hidden calculus going on. It's like driving through a two second delay or something. Trying to figure out exactly what's going on, with garbage filters for media outlets that you have to "read through" their various screens of bias, etc

What's going is the deep state and the establishment of BOTH parties were involved in the coup against Trump and they will do everything they can to coverup the truth.

Trump didn't choose Barr. He didn't even know him. Barr was effectively chosen by the Senate because he was one of the only people they would confirm. As a life-long swamp breeder with SIX immediate family members who are or have worked for the DOJ it was clear Barr was not going to do anything but protect the "company". That's why the Senate wanted him.

I felt the same way when he was overwhelmingly confirmed. Any time members of the parties agree that easily it is bad news for the people.

Any time the people agree that easily on their President it is bad for the parties as well. TRUMP 2020!

Edit: please see my other comment below for correction. Not sure what I was thinking. .

So really voting for president makes far less difference than the attention paid to it would warrant? In that position, without a corrupt Congress, you're limited to signing EUs, right? But how do you enforce it pay for them? Do you still +always+ need the Congressional pursestrings loosened? I don't know.

After the election, Trump just needs to fire all of them and run these agencies with temp directors of his choosing throughout his 2nd term. What are they going to do? Tell him he needs put someone permanent in place when they won't even confirm them? Just buck the system and use temps if the senate won't confirm his picks. And if those temp directors fail to act, fire them and move on down the line.

He's going to have to completely upend the entire process and go against the norm.

Wait what?

Didn't choose Barr??

Under the Appointments Clause of the United States Constitution, the officeholder is nominated through the power of appointment by the president of the United States, then appointed with the advice and consent of the United States Senate. The attorney general is supported by the Office of the Attorney General, which includes executive staff and several deputies

He's effectively saying Barr was given to him just like how the Republicans gave him a bunch of swamp creatures when Trump first started.

Like President Reagan got bush for vice president. The ex head of the CIA bush.

Yeah but why not choose your own?

Esp after Sessions? I'm thinking there's something there. ?Maybe. Otherwise, Trump didn't seem to really have wanted to shake things up as much as I had though. As much as advertised I n 2026. And, I'm aware people promise the moon every single election (and then blame The Other Side ((!whew, close one!)) for things they never really wanted to begin with, it that they know are untenable. Etc. But still. Lol. Point being, after four years it's hard to imagine anyone, whose name we know, getting arrested or serving time. Stone served more time than anyone in the DNC will for mistrps in 2016 election. Not trying to depress anything, I'm still supporting him, the other option (accelerationism and Biden?) Not really an option for me as it seems to be no 'bittom' from which to bounce back from.

Anyhow, no one whose name we know will get arrested. But I can still pay!

God, please punish the guilty! Thy will be done!

Yeah but why not choose your own?

Why? for the reasons I explained. If the Senate won't confirm who you want then you have to find someone they will approve. For example, Trump supposedly wanted Devon Nunes as DNI, but that was rejected by several senators most notably Burr. He then chose Ratcliffe and he too was rejected initially, but then some arms were twisted and Trump only put forth the nomination knowing he had the votes to get him confirmed. It's almost like a pitcher and catcher in baseball. The catcher (the President) makes suggestions on the pitch and the pitcher (the Senate) either accepts it or shakes it off.

I thought it was because his own would never have gotten the votes. I thought Trump tried that early on and all "his people" could never get the votes so he had to get establishment people in for the most part (until he pulled the Grennell move and had an interim guy who just slaughtered people)

JackLemon [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

You're missing the point. No one makes into the cabinet without Senate approval. As result, a President doesn't alway get who he wants, he gets the person the Senate is willing to give him.

Give Barr more time they said. Yo time is up. Trump needs to have Barr come to the White House and “order” them to release all documents with no redactions or he needs to get his resignation ready.

But what is Q saying about this?! 🙄

2 reasons,

  1. A cover up.
  2. The evidence is being used in a criminal case and civil cases usually don't start until after the criminal.
