I wrote last week that I have not seen a single Biden yard sign or bumper sticker in my bay area town. One week later - I still haven't seen one, and I am now including a much larger area, in a major (tech) county. I have seen quite a few "No on Prop 16 - stop trying to divide us" signs, which is the repeal of the state civil rights act. On Saturday my town had a Trump rally, which was just people driving around waving flags and honking. On Nextdoor some crazy lady was saying how all this "hate" was scaring her, and "they have no right! They should be banned!" etc. To my surprise a ton of reasonable people jumped on and told her she was wrong, people have a right to express their opinion, only fascists try to suppress people, and on and on. My wife and I were blown away! A couple years ago we came across a Right to Life march in SF, and there was no drama, nobody batted an eye. This was the biggest rally I've ever seen in SF, and it didn't even make it onto the local evening news. So while I don't think CA is turning purple I do think a lot of people are tired of all this bullshit, and if that is true here imagine what's its like outside a hardcore liberal bubble.

I live in the south bay. I have not seen any Biden signs either. A couple of bumper stickers, but that's it.
