How ‘bout a sticky mods? While your cat memes are entertaining, this is a real-world issue happening right now. Don Jr?...I know you stop by this site, maybe grab the ear of your Pops on this one.
It's not a real world issue. It's a sensationalist title for the ATF issuing a cease & desist to a single firearm manufacture about making a specific arm brace for a specific AR pistol.
In no way, shape, or form did the ATF "make Trump supporters felons". Even if the cease & desist sticks, it doesn't make anyone a felon even if they did own that specific firearm, it just means that company can't make that arm brace anymore. Not to mention "millions of Trump supporters instantly becoming felons". For starters, owning the firearm would have to be a felony, and it's not. Second, each owner of that specific firearm would have to be tried in a court of law in order to be a felon. Nobody's gone to court, because it's not a felony, therefore nobody's a felon for this.
Disagreeing with the ATF on this is fine, but the title and video are fear mongering garbage.
It not a real world issue? Oh, whew! For a minute there I thought it was, what with it being a felony to possess a firearm included in the NFA without having the tax stamp. But yeah, no one has been to court yet so it doesn’t matter what the federal regulatory agency says, right? I mean the ATF would NEVER abuse these designations to like, say, setup someone and murder a private citizen’s wife while she is holding her baby, right? (ahem, Ruby Ridge). And hey, downvote my fake ass internet points all you want dipshit. In fact, go through all my posts and downvote them if it makes you feel better!
I read it. You quoted the OP mostly and not me. While the title of the post may be sensational, the intent of the ATF here should be alarming.
“For starters, owning the firearm would have to be a felony, and it's not.” Wrong. Owning a firearm classified as an SBR without the tax stamp is a felony.
“It's a sensationalist title for the ATF issuing a cease & desist to a single firearm manufacture about making a specific arm brace for a specific AR pistol.” Also wrong. Any AR pistol having the same characteristics of the Honey Badger will be considered an SBR with this move from the ATF. Hawkins at Breitbart sums up his article on this with, “ As of now, the ATF’s action is limited to the Q, LLC (Q) manufactured AR-15 pistol called the “Honey Badger,” but an expansion of the policy, which would impact all AR-15 pistols with pistol braces, is anticipated.” https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/10/07/atf-places-some-ar-15-pistols-with-stabilizer-braces-under-nfa/
My apologies for the heated reply Pede, but you are flat out wrong on this. The ATF is staffed with Bathhouse Barry holdovers actively grabbing guns as we speak. It’s an issue where GEOTUS can intervene and needs as much attention here as possible.

The ATF has been intentionally vague regarding pistol braces. Now that there are more than 4 million in circulation they are classifying them as SBRs. That makes $800 million in tax stamps just for this classification alone, not to mention the other firearms they are openly looking to ban/reclass.
