I read it. You quoted the OP mostly and not me. While the title of the post may be sensational, the intent of the ATF here should be alarming.
“For starters, owning the firearm would have to be a felony, and it's not.” Wrong. Owning a firearm classified as an SBR without the tax stamp is a felony.
“It's a sensationalist title for the ATF issuing a cease & desist to a single firearm manufacture about making a specific arm brace for a specific AR pistol.” Also wrong. Any AR pistol having the same characteristics of the Honey Badger will be considered an SBR with this move from the ATF. Hawkins at Breitbart sums up his article on this with, “ As of now, the ATF’s action is limited to the Q, LLC (Q) manufactured AR-15 pistol called the “Honey Badger,” but an expansion of the policy, which would impact all AR-15 pistols with pistol braces, is anticipated.” https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/10/07/atf-places-some-ar-15-pistols-with-stabilizer-braces-under-nfa/
My apologies for the heated reply Pede, but you are flat out wrong on this. The ATF is staffed with Bathhouse Barry holdovers actively grabbing guns as we speak. It’s an issue where GEOTUS can intervene and needs as much attention here as possible.
I already acknowledged that the title is sensational. When you downplay gun grabs it will always, always provoke a response.
You just want to argue. Go back to Reddit for that shit.

Ok, mom. And just because you saw the title and thought the ATF made 5 million gun owners felons without critical thinking doesn't mean I just want to argue.
For the record, I'm 1000% in disagreement with the ATF, and in agreement with you on the foolishness of the C&D. However, it's not a real world issue, at least in that it's not going to prevent 5 million gun owners from voting, which was the suggested implication of the title.
So you can go back to Reddit if you're only going to read titles and DEMAND Jr. retweets shit based on the title.
“For starters, owning the firearm would have to be a felony, and it's not.” Wrong. Owning a firearm classified as an SBR without the tax stamp is a felony.
This is disingenuous. It's NOT a felony if you own the stamp. It's like saying "you're wrong, owning an AR is a felony if it's automatic" don't be a liar.

Also disingenuous, you're saying "you're wrong because they think it might change which would retroactively make your statements false." Don't be a liar.
Oh you didn't read my reply, just the first line? Ok then.

The ATF has been intentionally vague regarding pistol braces. Now that there are more than 4 million in circulation they are classifying them as SBRs. That makes $800 million in tax stamps just for this classification alone, not to mention the other firearms they are openly looking to ban/reclass. Oh ok, so did the ATF "make Trump supports felons", or nah? Did I say "it's fine to disagree with the ATF, but the title is misleading" or nah?
