I'll never forget this, where I was on 9/11. I was in middle school in Florida, my dad was dropping something off in the office for me and I was called to go get it. As I'm walking into the main office I see everyone staring at a tiny tv mounted in the corner of the room. My dad in the middle of the room freaking out, hands in his hair like he's ripping his hair out. I get his attention and he looks at me and just says heres your thing, New York's been attacked, I love you, I have to make some phone calls bye. I walk back into class and kinda just blert it out to everyone that NewYork had been attacked. They all looked at me like I was crazy so did the teacher, Moments later PA comes on telling teachers to turn on channel whatever for the news, only to have to turn it off when people started. So since that day I dug deeeeeeep online and found out how to really research shit for myself. In doing so I developed a healthy distrust for our media.I hate admitting this but I did not vote in 2016, I really didn't think it mattered, I figured it was all rigged and my vote meant nothing. It wasn't until I saw all the media attacking Trump, non-stop vicious attacks on his character and the people around him. Shortly after his election when I saw how they just wouldn't give the man a fair chance was when I became a supporter. Since drudge soldout I needed a new news source, cant remember how I found you slippery fellas but I now find myself checking this lovely site daily.
