My girlfriend and I started dating in 2018, and she’s never been political, but she didn’t like Trump. She was pretty uninformed and thought he was a moron/asshole. Whatever, didn’t bother me. She never had full blown TDS or anything like that.
Time went on and I never said much to her about it other than the odd comment here or there about funny and interesting things our president does. Slowly she stopped disliking him and took a pretty neutral stance.
Well she’s a healthcare worker and has seen first hand how ridiculous the whole COVID shit is. Plus the riots, etc, she finally spoke up about it all.
I told her that I’m going to vote early this Saturday (in person) and she asked to come with so she can vote for Trump! Made me smile from ear to ear and I thought you fellas would get a kick out of it too.

Opposite just happened to me this Monday night. Avoided dating for a while but started talking to a girl all year and we started dating 2 months ago. Slowly realized in the past 2 weeks we have completely different lifestyles and I don't see a future with us, hard part was ending it because she's been burned before and I know how bad it sucks. Then Monday night comes and we're at a friends birthday dinner, politics get brought up. I join in and say how much I love Trump and how he's the greatest leader to ever live. My sister works with nurses and hospitals all around the country. She said in the very beginning it was kinda split on whether it was serious or not from some of the nurses. And to be fair we didn't know much about it at the start. She said now that every nurse she works with thinks this whole thing is bullshit and purely political
The beauty of SC is you’re close to mountains and ocean no matter where you are. However, decide what type of drive you want to the beach and start checking it out. West Ashley and isle of palms, James island near Charleston. WA and IOP have good public schools. Summerville is growing rapidly and is affordable and not too far off. Some areas are good but you’ll want to see if that area has decent schools or need to use private schools if kids are in your future.

It is truly amazing how many libtards work in healthcare in NJ- and that includes docs, nurses and of course the big wig elites!!!! However, as far as COVID goes, in NJ we truly saw the worst of it back in March/April- would never want to go through it again. It was not a hoax (sorry, but true). BUT hopefully since then the virus has weakened and our treatments have improved. With 30+ years in healthcare, and many many horrible flu seasons -this was worse than any of those- and especially because people who were relatively healthy were rapidly in need of intubation (placing on a ventilator).But many who died, also had significant and advanced diseases that were going to end their lives prematurely whether through covid or another respiratory virus or infection. I want our businesses to open the fuck up, I dont think they should ever have closed..... I think those with underlying healthcare risks should take precautions, and the rest should just go about their lives.
I don’t know if you saw the article where several members of the same family in NJ died of COVID.... but if you look at the photo they’re all well over 300lbs. It’s sad the media keeps reporting “outbreaks” in schools and when you read the article it’s 3 (three !!) asymptotic cases in an entire county of millions. I look at that as success!
