My girlfriend and I started dating in 2018, and she’s never been political, but she didn’t like Trump. She was pretty uninformed and thought he was a moron/asshole. Whatever, didn’t bother me. She never had full blown TDS or anything like that.
Time went on and I never said much to her about it other than the odd comment here or there about funny and interesting things our president does. Slowly she stopped disliking him and took a pretty neutral stance.
Well she’s a healthcare worker and has seen first hand how ridiculous the whole COVID shit is. Plus the riots, etc, she finally spoke up about it all.
I told her that I’m going to vote early this Saturday (in person) and she asked to come with so she can vote for Trump! Made me smile from ear to ear and I thought you fellas would get a kick out of it too.
Good on ya pede. My wife and I started dating and college and got married when I was in medical school. She was mostly apolitical but liberal leaning when we met. She came around more and more as we dated and when she started working, healthcare also, she finally became fully conservative. Been married for almost a decade now and she’s a full bore gun toting trump supported. Feels good man.
