I see Trump getting more votes than in 2016. And I can't honestly see Biden getting more votes than Hillary in 2016. GEOTUS has a passionate, strong, loyal base who are positive and optimistic about a future with Trump as president. NO ONE is enthusiastic about Biden/Harris. This election is a referendum on Trump.
Incumbents almost always do well in re-elections. The left is running on hate and negative attacks which is difficult to sustain. Trump is running on a positive message like he did in 2016. Positivity invigorates voters.
Having said that, we cannot trust the left to not cheat at every turn. So we must assume they will cheat, must assume they will turnout the vote in high numbers, and like you said we must not sit on our heels and assume an easy victory.
