I guess we'll get to see Iron Mike's personality better when he's on the 2024 campaign trail. Right now, it's all Trump's show.

A good supporting actor may not make a good lead.

Supporting actor needn't steal the show unless the time is right.

It's a fair point. But Pence was a Governor before becoming VP under Trump. I think he'll have some serious qualifications to tout in 2024. The only candidate currently who comes close to Pence would be Cruz.

Gavin Newsome, Satan-esque governor of the failed Republic of California is their hero who will be given every chance to win the nomination in 2024. So we just need to be that clown.

They had a lot of clowns this year. But so did the Republicans in 2012. (Shoulda just run Gingrich.).

Newsom ... he'd probably crash and burn like Beto. (I'm sorry bot, Robert O'Rourke). But the White House has changed parties every 8 years since Clinton. Not since Reagan-Bush did a party hold it for three terms.

Trump was needed to make a big shift in the country. Pence needs to carry that ball and run it home for another 8 years. Doesn't have to be Trump to do that, and I have no doubt he can lead very well.

You know what would be hysterical?

Repeal the 22nd amendment. Let presidents run for a third term.

Let the Democrats bring Obama out of retirement and run him against Trump.

That is one show that would be a lot of fun to watch.

While I'd be ok with Trump going a third term and find that to be an amusing debate, I think it's good as it is now.
