My gut feeling is that Trump is fighting to keep his taxes private is a ploy. He knows there is nothing in them incriminating. I'm pretty sure that most billionaires pay for an army of tax attornyes to ensure not only to be legal but to pay the least amout of taxes possible under the law.
My thinking is he's fighting so hard so when the Left FINALLY gets ahold of his finiances and find nothing he can turn the tables and then pull thier records. And they will have laid the ground work on which to get them.
