I don't question that. I don't think he could get elected. In the safety of the 60's, he'd be a lock. It's a different world now. He doesn't have the killer instinct to dunk on the opponent and win. He does have the competence to contribute to an administration. His political insiderness combined with integrity is rare!
Pence has been solid as a rock his entire political career. Consistent, integrity. Still a politician though. It came out last night.
He'd be an asset anywhere in a future administration, but I don't want to see him at the top of a ticket.
