But only the Democrats can select the debate moderator. Isn't that the rule?

He needs to announce making marijuana federally legal. Last night Kamala said they would decriminalize marijuana. Trump needs to get on that shit now to take away their ONE good idea.

I know many of liberal friends that said this would make them vote for Trump.

35

Lots of people whose lives revolve around pot would absolutely be a one issue voter on this. I know, I used to be one of those losers!

Trump would get a massive voting bloc of people who don't regularly vote.

Colorado regrets legalizing marijuana

I don’t disagree. I’m just saying Colorado regrets it. Tons of pot immigrants. Colorado used to be red. No longer

Also, people don’t tell you that overturning roe v wade would effectively legalize pot, by essentially leaving it up to the states

Fuck it. Decriminalize it all together and people will stop shopping around for a place to smoke without worry. Sitting here and telling me getting an abortion is a federal issue while using weed isn’t doesn’t fly with me.

I thought Reagan made it be illegal? Have I been been lied to

11
BecMonTchew 11 points ago +11 / -0

If you think presidents write laws, then yes, you have been lied to. The Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984 was passed by a Dem House and introduced by a Dem.

A_Deplorable_Basket 2 points ago +3 / -1

But let’s not pretend the Reagans didn’t approve. Remember that Nancy Reagan started “Just Say No.”

2
Wsemenske 2 points ago +2 / -0

A slogan that is trying to tell people to stop smoking crack and ruinining their lives is not the same as making laws that put them in jail.

Prohibition of weed was cool when it meant lenient penalties and a tax free black market.

Now it's just a mess.

2
ShakeNBake 2 points ago +2 / -0

Legalize weed! Love it!

32
publ1us 32 points ago +34 / -2

I've said for years that he should do this right before the 2020 election. It would take the wind out of their sails on an issue they've clearly been setting up to use to grab more power, would probably force a decent number of lefties to reconsider him at least a little bit, and we're at a time where the momentum seems to be in legalization's favor anyway.

The Dems capitalize on every bullshit extrapolated short term statistical trend, so why shouldn't we capitalize off of an actual one?

4

Trumpnis way ahead of the dems on that. Brian lamsa is a lead on that as a presidential consultant. This year was supposed remove federal barriers. Marijuana is a right wing cause people its capitalism and natural.medicine. I won't vote for Biden even if Trump said he would shut all weed down. But he won't. I have 58 veterans working in the mj industry for me. Im A disabled career veteran. All my vets are combat veterans and pro weed and pro TRUMP. Freedom is for all, so if ykubhave a laundry list of biases you should ditch em and stick to the constitution. Weednisnt the government problem to solve

4
seventysixdon 4 points ago +5 / -1

I wish there was a Vet run shop near me. There is one by my parent's house and I only use them when I visit. Thank you for your service and for employing our vets. I live in a county that outlawed physical shops, but deliveries are okay. Legalize it and only tax 2% for the feds, they will make billions and America will be even better for it.

4
BallsackPaneer 4 points ago +8 / -4

Absolutely not, and not for reasons concerning marijuana.

Legalization or decriminalization is best left to individual states. We do not need a federal level policy on this that will be wielded like a leash on citizens in future elections. I want the federal government to stay out of my business on things of this nature.

Trump has already weighed in on this debate by not acting upon the issue. Proof? Look at all the other areas such as funding for states with sanctuary cities, laize faire attitudes on rioters, federal ban on critical race theory teaching, etc.

Kamala's bullshit promise is nothing but. It implies the same thing as when they insinuate that Republicans will take away social security. What they are really hoping for is a blind addiction to Democrat fear mongering.

Trump is a teetotaler, offers his opinions, but has a steadfast belief that Americans can make their own decisions. He's not out there insisting that everyone who uses marijuana will turn into Mayor DeBlasio.

8
seventysixdon 8 points ago +9 / -1

But keeping it federally illegal IS a federal policy. If he makes it legal then it is out of their hands and the states can then decide whether or not they want to allow it.

7
orangemangood2 7 points ago +11 / -4

That's precisely what legalization would entail. No one would stop individual states from making it illegal if they so choose. What's currently happening, is that even in states where it's legal, they can't use a bank in any way, even to process credit cards or take out a loan, since it's federally illegal.

2
DontApologize 2 points ago +4 / -2

This. Fed Gov is not legalizing it - they are making it no longer illegal. Sounds like the same thing but it really isn't. States would be free to make their own laws with regards to it.

Republicans need to REMIND voters how the USA is supposed to work.. It's supposed to be 50 separate countries that are UNITED for specific reasons - commerce, national defense and handling between states disputes.

Federal Government is NOT supposed to be a do everything organization. It's not supposed to provide education, welfare, medical care etc to every state. That's up to every state to decide.

This is why we have an electoral college. If things were working correctly the President election wouldn't be a huge deal because they would be limited to dealing with Federal things.

The left has changed the Presidency to be a supreme dictator type who can do anything down to bathrooms with executive orders. All of that should be unconstitutional.

2
brother_red 2 points ago +2 / -0

I am afraid that 90% of Reps and 99.9% of Dims don't know that.

Same with the general population. Shit, I still have to explain this to pedes all the time.

Congress has enumerated powers. They can't just go legislating and controlling everything under the sun using the Commerce Clause or whatever other commie fuckery they use.

Even if it's something I 100% support, like death to baby rapists, IT'S NOT FEDERAL!!!

90%+ of DC needs to be shut the fuck down.

2
Charnathan 2 points ago +4 / -2

8

Even then, Biden would then be pressured to do a one-on-one with Rogan, and Biden would have trouble keeping up with that, too, even if he's on just as many drugs as Rogan.

6
sanstheskeleton 6 points ago +7 / -1

Joe said a while ago that people like pocahontas and biden wanted to be on his show but he told them to get lost. Not sure how true that is

6
Flcentipede 6 points ago +6 / -0

Maybe Pocahontas, but no way Biden would do that without all sorts of ground rules Rogan would never accept.

7
TheRealPizzaPope 7 points ago +10 / -3

That would a phenomenal move if that were to happen. I always wanted to have a DJT JRE interview.

The funny thing about Rogan though is that he seems to give everyone the benefit of the doubt except for Trump.

6
Data_bank 6 points ago +7 / -1

I think trump should agree to a joe rogan interview and just do it. He’d get a 10% pop minimum among on the fence people who wouldn’t have voted otherwise. Rogan isn’t a hannity level pede, but he’s aware and has discussed kek, Wikileaks, Seth rich and all of the corruption of the swamp on his podcast. I would say he’s probably the most fair interviewer you can find (he’d actually ask questions about those podesta paintings and crazy shit like that) but he also has a healthy dose of skepticism.

3
Califuckya 3 points ago +4 / -1

Joe has never asked Trump to an interview. So there's nothing to accept unfortunately. Trump would of been on yesterday if Rogan was up for it but I don't think it's the President avoiding Rogan, it's the other way around. Rogan did say he would do the debates, and then backed out, but I don't think he's ever agreed or wanted to do a 1 on 1 with Trump.

8

Except the guests he hasn't treated fairly almost all happen to be conservatives like Crowder and Sargon.

He also clearly lifts weights but claims Cuck Cuomos obviously fake 100lb weight isn't fake.

Fuck Joe Rogan.

1

Crowder and Sargon are his competition.

0
PatrickSebast 0 points ago +1 / -1

I barely listen to him but I did hear the episode where he talked about the weights and he clearly had only seen a picture when he was stating lifting 100lbs over your head single handed was possible.

Also I didn't know anything about having an issue with Crowder but when I googled it it appears that he not only apologized but had him on again since that time.

It looks like you are looking for him to just be 100% on your side or else evil

He admits that he doesn't know much about politics but just like Tim Poole, he seems to slowly get redpilled as time goes on. Him relocating to Texas was huge. 11

Do you have any idea how many of his listeners have stumbled across his interviews with conservative guests that would have otherwise never given them the time of day? It’s not joe Rogan people are excited about, but his platform and viewer reach. Plenty of msm absorbing normies who could be red pilled by seeing POTUS speak unfiltered, especially without a hostile WHPC interrupting like petulant children. POTUS could weave policies with personal stories that would make lots of people scratch their heads and say “I thot this guy was supposed to be hitler or something? He’s just trying to help people and save jobs”

9

6
whippeat 6 points ago +7 / -1

You don’t have to be a fan

Trump could do a 3hr podcast. He’d get his views out to millions and millions of people. Rogan won’t interrupt him every 2 seconds. Trump can fully explain things and answer questions on ANYTHING.

And Rogan is well clued up at least. He’s had Andy Ngo, Tim Pool, Shapiro, Candace Owens etc on.

At least it would be fair, and people can listen and decide if they like Trump or not. I’d bet 500,000+ Rogan listeners have never actually listened to him. They just see some clip played on CNN and then 2 hours explaining why he’s racist.

4
deleted 4 points ago +4 / -0

unable_afternoon 2 points ago +3 / -1

The purpose of rogan’s podcast is to listen to the guest. That’s why his podcast is so successful - because he’s good at playing the role of the ‘everyman’ and getting the guest to talk. Nobody here actually gives a shit about rogan himself. This would be fantastic for trump.

22
Trump2011 22 points ago +23 / -1

Nah. Fuck Joe Rogan. He's a classic liberal shill who is just able to hide it a little bit better than most.

Don't be fooled. Rogan is as cucked as they come.

No virtual.

painfullylogical 4 points ago +4 / -0

no. no virtual debates. in person or gtfo. Dems have had ample time to set up a safe environment for a in person debate. they can easily just use booths or something, but no. they want to adjust the rules because Biden is a class a fuck up and will get his shit kicked in again by trump.

I'd rather see a debate between Trump and Bernie Sanders with Alex Jones and Elon Musk hosting.

4
ParkerTruman 4 points ago +4 / -0

No, no, no. Rogen is under the thumb of Spotify. You think Spotify will allow Trump to dominate Biden on their forum? I dont. This is now a dumb idea

astro_eng 4 points ago +5 / -1

Just debate max headroom, it would be more real.

zx9john 4 points ago +4 / -0

Last week I would have supported this but after his podcast with Tim Dillion (which I noped out of 10mins in) and this bullshit with James O’Keefe... I’m totally, irredeemably, forever out on Joe Rogan. He can GAGF’d

4
Phenn 4 points ago +5 / -1

Yes. This is an incredible idea

3
B4size25paper 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fuck no. Since he sold out to spotify he's been shilling for democrats. Look what he said about James O'Keefe.

BigFish 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fuck Joe Rogan

3
alcowiggles 3 points ago +3 / -0

No good. For all we know Biden can be Deep Faked easily on video. It ALWAYS needs to be IN PERSON.

3
MAGAWookie 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fuck anything virtual.

InTheArmsOfThePepe 3 points ago +3 / -0

Bummer that JR has seemingly backed away from hosting a debate since his original post...

https://nypost.com/2020/09/30/joe-rogan-no-longer-interested-in-moderating-trump-biden-debate/

What a cuck. I'd expect him to at least stand behind his word...

No virtual debates. The President can't do virtual meetings with world leaders. Trump is already virus free, non contagious. Biden is a coward and a senile old man. He is a pathetic loser.

3
CraniometricSunray 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nope. Rogan no more. Dude has gotten too cucked.

Do you have any idea how many people have been exposed to conservative ideas because Rogan provides a platform for everyone? Literally millions of people that otherwise would have stayed in their own echo chamber.

wholesomekangz100 1 point ago +1 / -0

He sold out. He might have had decency in the past but now he’s just a husk

6
lefty295 6 points ago +7 / -1

Cause he’s the biggest podcaster in the world right now. He gets more views than CNN or any of the fake news.

2
maleitch 2 points ago +3 / -1

No shit, does his staff work here? This fucking idiot, who has the iq of the bag of weed he smokes is about as politically educated as an Antifa cultists. Isn't this pushing up against the edges of Idiocracy?

unable_afternoon 0 points ago +1 / -1

Who cares how much rogan knows about politics? We want to hear what trump has to say, and rogan’s podcast would allow that better than anyone else. Rogan is just the interviewer. In fact it’s actually better if he is uneducated because then trump would have more opportunity to explain things.
Nobody wants to listen to some conservative throw softballs to Trump because Trump can hit media fastballs out of the park just as well so it wouldn’t be any different. He’s been answering questions practically nonstop for the past five years. What we need is an actual conversation for once.

President Trump should go on the show with or without Biden. Throw out the invite and bring the results to the table to discuss for three hours, unfiltered, no pre-vetted questions, no topic off limits.

The first of it's kind in history.

2
Redked 2 points ago +3 / -1

Yes, with Tim Pool as co-mod.

2
MudDog 2 points ago +2 / -0

Spotify moderators? No thanks.

2
falinfa 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't trust Joe's judgment anymore. He thought Chris Cuomo was lifting a hundred pound weight with zero effort.

2
malooch 2 points ago +3 / -1

Fuck this virtual bullshit and fuck biden just fly to Texas, hop in the rogan show but make a deal to have the set up like his old studio not this new bullshit and then do a huge Texas style rally all in the same damn day
